2017 SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS

January 2
Applications accepted for Alan J. Cross Awards
Provide a CPP or PSP online certification review course for the first 20 members who submit a completed application. Applicants must obtain chapter endorsement to be eligible.

February 1 - March 29
Applications accepted for University of Phoenix "Secure Your Future" Full Tuition Scholarships
The University of Phoenix awards 5 full-tuition scholarships that allow a prospective student the opportunity to complete an undergraduate or master's degree program that furthers their security career.

February 27 - April 28
Applications accepted for Law Enforcement Certification Scholarships
Sponsored by the ASIS Transitions Council, these scholarships provide an opportunity for ASIS members who actively serve in law enforcement to pursue ASIS board certification. Scholarships cover the cost of application, preparation (online review and reference materials), and testing.

March 1 - May 5
Applications accepted for Webster University Charles H. "Sandy" Davidson IV Memorial Scholarships
Webster University awards 2 full-tuition scholarships for ASIS members to complete a graduate degree in Business and Organizational Security Management.

May 8 - July 3
Applications for Military Certification Scholarships
Sponsored by the ASIS Military Liaison Council, these scholarships provide an opportunity for ASIS members who actively serve in the military, including the Reserve or National Guard, to pursue ASIS board certification. Scholarships cover the cost of application, preparation (online review and reference material), and testing.

Applications accepted for Timothy J. Walsh APC I Award
This award pays the tuition, transportation, and hotel costs for a member to attend an ASIS Assets Protection Course (APC 1).

CHAPTER EDUCATIONAL AWARDS

January 2 - November 18
Applications accepted for Chapter Matching Scholarships
Scholarships that provide matching funds for an education award to a chapter member or student seeking a security career.

April 24 - June 19
Applications accepted for the Matt Simeone P3 Excellence Award
Sponsored by the Law Enforcement Liaison Council this award recognizes outstanding public private partnership excellence. Presented at the ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits, travel and hotel expenses for winners is provided.

November 1 - December 16
Applications accepted for Roy Bordes Physical Security Award
Provides up to $6,000 to one ASIS chapter to develop a customized, two-day physical security program.
